I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location on the hill was perfect, providing a peaceful and upscale residential area outside of town. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a divine bathtub in the Master Suite and a comfortable bedroom with low pile carpet. The included breakfast was a delicious and satisfying meal. The staff was amazing, always available, and ready to meet my needs. They welcomed me with a mezcal drink and provided great suggestions for events and sites to see. Transportation to and from the town center was provided, making it easy to venture out for shopping and eating.

Cannot find any fault.

This hotel has just 11 rooms, so I was very happy to be almost alone during my vacations.

1. The hotel is 40 minutes from the Oxaca down town by walking. It is 15 minutes by driving, according to the Hotel specifications they have a shuttle service but when we arrived to the hotel they told us it was out of service, before booking I knew that this hotel was not in the down town but I chose this hotel because they had shuttle service. 2. Bed, pillow, bathroom and carpet were dirty.

Nice "Casa" which is still under construction, but the part, that is finished looks nice. Good restaurant and ambiente with pool.

It is far from city centre, but that is normal for that kind of accomodation on the hills of Oaxaca

loved every detail about my really amazing 2 nights stay here. the staff was attentive, my every need was addressed. the rooms were big size and new-fashioned and beds were comfortable. the breakfast was extensive, had a wide range of options and the food was outstanding. location: the hotel was short walk to beautiful oaxaca, a beautiful area and culture, and casa bonita. a few times i ate at doba yej, located a 10-15 minute walk from the property.

The Master Suite's divine bathtub, comfortable bedroom with low pile carpet, 6 pillows provided, and pleasant staff make for a wonderful stay. Breakfast is a satisfying meal, not just basic options. Hotel Casa Bonita is a charming boutique situated in a tranquil area of Oaxaca City. The friendly and English-speaking staff is attentive and always helpful.

The Hotel Casa Bonita was wonderful -- a boutique hotel up on the hill in a quiet area of Oaxaca City. The manager and the desk guy were friendly, spoke English, attentive, and helped us out with everything we asked for. I would return here easily. As an aside -- travelers should know not to drink water, eat ice, or flush toilet paper anywhere in Mexico (except, perhaps, if you are at a resort). Use bottled water to brush your teeth also.

We had a hard time finding it, but we were driving and things are just hard to find in Oaxaca City!

The rooms at this hotel were spacious and cozy, providing a comfortable stay during my city break. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant experience. Additionally, the location of the hotel was ideal, as it was situated in a quiet part of town but still within close proximity to the main attractions. One more advantage was the beautiful garden, which provided a peaceful setting to relax after a long day of exploring.

One downside of this hotel was that it was located a bit outside of the city center, which meant that it took some time to reach the main attractions. Additionally, the hotel lacked the traditional Mexican charm that one might expect in a city like Oaxaca.

This hotel is a gem! We had an amazing Christmas here. The staff was really helpful and maintained a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel is in a great location with plenty of restaurants around and a pharmacy nearby. They have a complete spa and a beautiful outdoor pool with heated water. The rooms are really comfortable and clean.

The breakfast took a bit too long to be served. We also had to constantly ask for water bottles, which was kind of annoying.

The hotel stay was pleasant and the staff was very friendly. We enjoyed the spacious and clean room, as well as the good amenities including the wifi and fitness center. The location of the hotel, in an upscale residential area outside of town, was perfect for us as it provided a peaceful environment away from the busy city center. Additionally, the hotel did a great job of arranging transportation and tours for us, making it convenient for us to explore the city and its attractions.

There were a few issues that we encountered during our stay. The pool heating system was broken, making the water too cold to swim in.

This hotel offered a fantastic continental breakfast that was absolutely delicious and included with the room. The staff were friendly and helpful. the rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and hot water in the shower. One of the best aspects was its central location, making it easy to explore the city and nearby attractions.

The decor of the rooms was outdated and the carpet appeared to be stained. the safe in the room was not functioning properly.
